DIABOLIC INTENT: 'The Cold Path Of Man' To Receive European Release In October

Florida extreme metal three-piece DIABOLIC INTENT has issued the following update:

"We are currently shopping the [recently completed third] album ['The Cold Path of Man'] out to the major labels here in the US. We are negotiating to secure either licensing or distro for the new album to be available in the States. Right now, Europe may see the October release... not sure about the U.S. release as of yet. Don't fear, though — you WILL be able to pick it up at our upcoming tour dates for the 'Cold Path Tour' kicking off in 2007. Meanwhile, we are beefing up our setlist and working out a few new tracks for the future... The video for 'In God We Trust?' will be out. Magazine reviews will start to be seen, Advances of the album are out on the networks…"

In other news, DIABOLIC INTENT guitarist Chris Migdalski recently welcomed a little girl into his family.

DIABOLIC INTENT recorded "The Cold Path of Man" earlier in the year at Dark Angel Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa. The CD is said to be "uninfluenced by American mixing and recording techniques" and "offers a new diverse sound for extreme metal," according to a press release.

"The Cold Path of Man" was recorded, produced and engineered by Ankha and Leanne Warren of Dark Angel Project and DIABOLIC INTENT. A full-length audio file containing the track "...In God We Trust?" can be downloaded at this location.
